He was predeceased by: his daughter Teresa Lynn Searcy; his brother Rev. T. W. "Bill" Searcy; and his son-in-law Jack H. Tripp. He is survived by: his children, Phil Searcy (Kelley) of Easley, Scott Searcy (April) of Easley, Karen Nalley (Mike) of Easley and Kathy Tripp of Easley; and his sister Gloria Vissage (Hogan) of Easley. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
