She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Lewis and Edna Roberts Pate; her husband Walter C. LeRoy; her siblings, David Pate, Margene Dodson, Lloyd Pate, Betty Metheny and Paul Pate; her son Robert L. Bergholm; and her friend Rex Byrd.
She is survived by: her children, Norman V. Bergholm III (Sherry), Terri Owens (Mike), Karen Dodgens (Norman), Connie Morgan and Jody L. Bergholm (Amy). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Funerals and Cremations - Pickens Chapel (105 Florence St, Pickens, SC 29671). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (2410 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671).
