It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mattie Ruth Hart (Easley, South Carolina), born in Pickens, South Carolina, who passed away on January 9, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Hart; her parents, Samuel Pearce Gentry and Rachel Idella Sheriff Gentry; and her siblings, James P. Gentry, Allen L. Gentry, Hazel Welborn, Ina O'Dell and Mae Van Ballard.

She is survived by: her sister Ann Osborne of Greenville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dacusville United Methodist Church, 1365 Thomas Mill Road, Easley, SC 29640.
