It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mattie Redding Massingail (Easley, South Carolina), who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pinkney Carlos Redding and Charmie Smith Redding; and her siblings, Thomas, Pearl, Clarence, Weldon, Leroy and Ruby.
She is survived by: her daughters, Betty Bratcher (Kenny) of Easley, Ruby Robinson (Tim) of Easley and Wanda Poole of Marietta; her grandchildren, Kris Bratcher (Britanie) of Easley, Andy Robinson (Kayse) of Easley and Nick Robinson (Morgan) of Easley; and her great grandchildren, Presley Robinson of Easley, Cash Robinson of Easley, Nolan Robinson of Easley and Kaylee Bratcher of Easley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peters Creek Baptist Church (972 Shoals Creek Church Rd, Easley, SC 29640). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the Peters Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (972 Shoals Creek Church Rd, Easley, SC 29640).
