With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Rhodes Bridges (Easley, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on June 2, 2023 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Lewis Bridges; her parents, L. T. Rhodes and Lizzie Stone Rhodes; her brother J. Curtis Rhodes; and her son-in-law Henry Tuten.
She is survived by: her daughters, Annette Tuten, Miriam Ausburn (Billy) and Kathy Melton (Alan); her sister Helen Atkinson; her grandchildren, James Tuten (Belle), Timothy Tuten, Kate Melton (Jesse), Caroline Melton (Erik) and Mary Kaiho; her great grandchildren, Thomas Tuten, Oscar Tuten, Charlie Harper, Judson Lundy and Ada Lundy; and her niece Cheryl Atkinson.
