With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Heard of Easley, South Carolina, born in Pickens, South Carolina, who passed away on March 11, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosco Gantt and Gladys Jamison Johnson; and her husband John Churchill Heard. She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Hatton (Bradley) of Easley, SC; her siblings, Pearlee Johnson of Central, SC, Sarah Johnson of Liberty, SC and Willie Johnson of Central, SC; and her grandchildren, William Heard and Iesha Coker. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
