She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Hood and Flora Looper Hood; and her siblings, J. T. Hood and Lou Ellen Holcombe. She is survived by: her husband Winfred Scarborough; her sons, Ronald and Barry Scarborough (Jan); her grandchildren, Stacy Scarborough Huff (Zach) and Travis Scarborough; and her great grandchildren, Bella, Lilly, Cole and Halle Mae.
Memorials may be made to Rock Springs Baptist Church or St. Jude's Hospital.
