She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Schumpert and Doratha Minick Schumpert; her husband Jim Thompson; and her brother Gene Schumpert. She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Rice (Rusty) of Easley; her grandchildren, Rowdy Rice (Griffin Rice), Bailey Rice (Camree Thompson), Carianna Sexton and B. J. Thompson (Jason Thompson); and her sister Frieda Kesler (Craig) of Newberry. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Neighborhood Church, Po Box 1488, Easley, SC 29640 to further reach others for Christ.
