He was predeceased by: his parents, James Garline and Blanche Willette Gibson Roper. He is survived by: his daughter Farrah Le'Ann Roper of Pendleton; and his siblings, Robbie Yates (Dwight) of Liberty, Dianne Gilliland of Easley and Donnie Roper (Sarah) of Easley. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
