Margaret C. McCollum Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret C. McCollum of Easley, South Carolina, born in Pickens, South Carolina, who passed away on August 2, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Whitt McCollum, Jr. of Easley; and her siblings, Leland Chappell, Jay Chappell, Clinton Chappell, Buren Chappell, Craig Chappell, Robert "Bob" Chappell, Jr., Gerald Chappell, Lois Bone and Merle Grigsby.

She is survived by: her children, Jeff McCollum (Michele) of Easley, Melissa "Lisa" Childs (Bill) of Pendleton and Kimberly "Kim" McCollum of St. Croix; her grandchildren, Bailey Stewart, Whitney McCollum Weyman (Nick), Polly McCollum and Lindsay Childs (Jeff); her great grandchildren, Jameson Stewart and Tripp Best; and her sisters, Georgia Garrett (George) of Pickens, Joyce Middleton (Richard) of Jacksonville, Fla. and Geraldine Anthony of Easley.
