She is survived by: her husband Johnnie Lavender; her children, Willie Douglas Tinsley Jr. (Mary Ann) and Mary Lynn Cheek (Todd); her grandchildren, Valerie Cooper and Willie Douglas Tinsley III; her stepgrandchildren, Mandie Woods (Matthew), Jessica Casteen (Gaige) and Frankie Gosnell (Kayla); her great grandchildren, Michael, Elizabeth, Alivia, Axl and Benson; and her sister Shirley Morris (Roger).
