She was predeceased by: her parents, Oree Finley and Ruby Alexander Finley; her daughter Kim Moreno; and her siblings, Kenneth Finley, Jerry Finley and Judy Mealor.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Merck; her children, Kip Merck (Shana) and Keila Yoda; her son-in-law Richard Moreno; her grandchildren, Reygan Merck, Riley Moreno, Khaner Fox (Brent), Kameron Merck (Maddie), Keiana Austin (Josh) and Khalil Yoda; and her great grandchildren, Carsyn Hutley, Tember Fox, Broncs Merck, Aubrey Elliott and Azlynn Elliott.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Linda's memory may be made to ALS Association or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
