He was predeceased by: his mother Martha Jane Philabaum; and his brother Bart Nelson. He is survived by: his girlfriend Mary Ann Orr; his son Justin Cameron Nelson (Ashley Eckerson); his stepchildren, Jamie Orr (Stephanie Hull), Cari Ann Witham (Greg) and Charisha Scarborough (Josh); his grandchildren, Austin Witham, Grace Witham (Anthony Allen) and Della Scarborough; and his siblings, Angela Nelson Lambert (Tom), Jeff Nelson, Eric Nelson and Brian Nelson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
