He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Brock Kay; his parents, Joseph Eugene Kay and Bessie Milford Kay; and his son Joseph Brock Kay. He is survived by: his son Stephen Milford Kay (Tammy) of Easley; his grandchildren, Alex Kay, Justin Kay (Barbie), Stephen Kay and Leona Gaskill; his great grandchildren, Christopher Kay, Bella Kay, Chelsey Bigham, Chandra McCall, Joseph Connor Kay, Cash Gaskill, Simon Gaskill, Elliot Ballentine and Sidney Raines; and his great great grandchildren, Cate, Callen Bigham and Parker Raines.
