He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Milton "Billy" and Iva Ruth Moore Adams; and his siblings, Imogene McGaha, Guynell Snipes, Billy Ray Adams and Joe Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Purdy Adams; his children, Ben Adams (Terri), Sandra Adams Goldsmith (Paul) and Mark Adams (Alison); his grandchildren, Ryan Adams, Phillip Adams, Katie Adams, Lauren Adams, Jonathan Adams and Lindsay Adams; and his brother Jimmy Adams (Pat).
