He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hooper and Dovie Capps Hooper; and his brother Jimmy Hooper. He is survived by: his wife Sue Elrod Hooper; his son Jeff Hooper (Allison); his granddaughter Abbie Grace Hooper; his brother Donnie Hooper (Judy); and his sister-in-law Jackie Hooper.
