He was predeceased by: his mother Lola Faye Mathis Owen; and his son Aaron James Gilstrap. He is survived by: his father Jeremiah Emmett Owen, Sr. of Pickens; his wife Lauree Owen of Easley; his sons, Jacob Chandler Owen (Ana) of Marietta and William Isaiah Owen of Easley; and his sisters, Rachel Meredith (Chris) of Liberty, Rebecca Owen of Pickens and Elvie Green (Tim) of Easley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
