It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Cantrell (Easley, South Carolina), born in Pickens, South Carolina, who passed away on April 28, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Stacy Hiott. He is survived by: his wife Jane Batson Cantrell; his grandchildren, Caleb Hiott of Easley, Nathanial Hiott of Easley and Emily Reid of Anderson; his great grandchild Amelia Durham; his sister Martha Ann Hawkins of Easley; his sister-in-law Brenda McCall of Piedmont; and his nieces, Sherrie Dwyer and Nancy Moore.

Jim will lie in state at the funeral home Friday, May 1, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley but due to the Covid-19 virus and CDC guidelines there will be a restricted number of friends that will be allowed in the building at the same time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dacusville United Methodist Church, 1365 Thomas Mill Road, Easley, SC 29640.
