She was predeceased by: her husband Lewis Edward Orr; her parents, John Clinton and Sarah Lou "Sallie" Trotter; her siblings, Robert C. Merritt, Sarah Lewellyn and Joyce Merritt Williams; and her brother-in-law Bill Jeffeaux.

She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Bloxdorf of Easley and Kathryn Fedele (Ray) of Anderson; her sisters, Ruth Jeffeaux of Greenville, Lou Ellen Pruitt (Joe) of Easley and Annette Freeman of Greenville; her grandchildren, Hollie Bloxdorf Heming (Jason) of Chapin, Emily Bloxdorf of Central and Eric Fedele of Pendleton; her great grandchild Will Heming; and her niece Jean Ambrose.
