He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dassinger and Amelia Dassinger. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Dassinger; his children, Herbert Dassinger, Jr. of Fernandino Beach, FL and Donna Dassinger of Fernandino Beach, FL; his sister Barbara Hall of Evans, GA; his stepson Jeffrey Summerall of Easley; and his nephew Kenneth Gosnell (Toni) of Greenville. He is also survived by four grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
