She is survived by: her husband David McGowens, Sr.; and her children, Melissa Pitts of Easley, SC, David McGowens, Sr. of Greenville, SC and Kenneth McGowens (Sherry) of Concord, NC. She is also survived by six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
