He was predeceased by: his parents, William Boyd and Annie Boyd; his siblings, William "Push" Boyd, Eugenia Boyd, Ulysess Boyd, Louise Boyd, Annie Mae Boyd, Hiawatha Boyd, Margaret Seaberry, Matthew Boyd, Roberta Hay, David Boyd, Helen Morehead and Ernest Boyd; and his grandchild Antwan Boyd.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Boyd; his children, Harvey L. Boyd Jr., Belinda "Gail" Braxton, Gary L. Boyd and Linda M. Boyd; his grandchildren, Kwana Jackson, Eleasia Nicole Boyd, Harvey Trey Boyd III, Ruschell Braxton, Brendon Braxton, Stephon L Carter and LeTiea J Boyd; and his great grandchildren, Kyndall Jackson and Kaine Boone. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
