He is survived by: his wife Carol Satterfield; his children, Sherry Watson (Michael) of Liberty, Tammy Gregory (Tommy) of Easley and Rodney (Jeanna) of Pelzer; his grandchildren, Cory Gillespie (Kala) of Anderson, Falon Miller (Jim) of Liberty, Candace Strickland of Anderson, Nicole Maxwell of Texas, Chance Johnson (Mia) of Berea, Brandon Gregory of Charlotte, NC and Brie Dunagan (Cory) of Liberty; and his great grandchildren, Maddison Miller, Tyler Miller, Olivia Strickland, Laytin Maxwell, Alayna Dunagan, Annalise Gillespie and Colton Dunagan.
In leu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Alzheimer's and Dementia Foundation.
