It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Furman E. Hayes of Easley, South Carolina, who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Hayes and Josie Mae Raines Hayes; his wife Sue Whitmire Hayes; and his siblings, Melvin Hayes, Truman "Skinner" Hayes, Elizabeth "Lib" Simmons and Effie Crowe.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Fowler (Wayne); and his grandchildren, Kasey, Heather and Faith.
