He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Earl Porter and Lola Ramey Porter. He is survived by: his wife Betty Harbuck Porter; and his sons, Tony (Wanda Porter), James (Angie Porter) and Mark (Kristin Porter). He is also survived by his nine grand-children.
