She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel James Elrod and Loche Belle Elrod; and her brothers, Larry Elrod and Jimmy Elrod. She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Floyd Shands; her children, Cynthia Shands of Powdersville, Tim Shands (Kimberly) of Powdersville and Sherri Junkins of Easley; her brothers, Jon Robert Elrod (Ivah Jo) and George L. Elrod; her grandsons, Dustin Junkins (Freda) of Easley, Samuel Shands of Powdersville and Daniel Shands of Powdersville; and her great grandchild Damian Junkins of Easley.
