It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Clifton Henry (Easley, South Carolina), who passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edd Henry and Alma Barnes Henry; his son Christopher "Chris" Henry; and his siblings, Malcolm "Mick" Henry, Betty Henry Hunter Butts, Clara "Jane" Henry Edens and Clem Lee Henry.
He is survived by: his wife Doris M. Henry; his children, Vicki Durham (Mike), Kevin Henry (Susan), Sherri Wise (Rodney), Doug McDonald, Anne Pittman (Brad), Susan Youngblood (Ray) and Timothy McDonald; and his sister Helen Talley (Zane). He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church (1623 Hester Store Rd, Easley, SC 29640). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church (1623 Hester Store Rd, Easley, SC 29640).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Eddie's honor may be made to Rainey Hospice House, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
