It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Thornton Redding (Easley, South Carolina), born in Pickens, South Carolina, who passed away on November 30, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse R. V.; her parents, George Robert Thornton and Ruth Smith Thornton; and her son Billy Redding. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Pam Redding of Easley; her grandchildren, Joseph, Anna and Emily Redding; and her siblings, Ruby Jacobs (Lew) of Greenville, Vivian Bryan of Easley and James Thornton (Jo Ann) of Easley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions, 1623 Hester Store Road, Easley, SC 29640.
