She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Richards; her parents, Carlos Andrew Smith, Sr. and Nellie Pauline Gilstrap Smith; and her siblings, Carlos Andrew Smith, Jr., Robert Joe Smith, Randall Dale Smith, Janice Elaine Sutherland and Mildred Todd.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tracy Diane Neal of Pickens, Christy Lee Chism (Tim) of Piedmont and Nellie Pauline McDowell of Greenville; and her siblings, William Ricky Smith of Pickens, Nina Lucille Wilson of Pickens and Theresa Gail Neal (Clyde) of Liberty. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
