As Deacon Roosevelt departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Deacon Roosevelt may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Deacon Roosevelt leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willie H. Baker and Maggie Walker Baker; and his children, Sharon Campbell (James) of Easley, SC and Daniel Baker (Tina) of Cumming, GA.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Easley Union Missionary Baptist Church (109 Runion St, Easley, SC 29640). A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the New Foundation Missionary Baptist Church (556 Lenhardt Rd, Easley, SC 29640).
