With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Martin (Easley, South Carolina), born in Six Mile, South Carolina, who passed away on February 15, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Avondalee Crenshaw of Pickens; his children, Olin David Martin, Jr. (Maureen) of Midlothian, Gregory Dean Martin (Terri) of St. Simons Island, Georgia and Esther Kay Padgett (John) of Brevard; his sisters, Ruth Traber of Liberty, Dorothy Gibson of Pickens and Alma Pace of Easley; his grandchildren, Anne Martin, Paul Martin, Glen Martin, Neal Martin and Felder Anne Martin; and his siblings, Claude A. Martin, John B. Martin, Margie Nalley, Thelma Black and Frances Pearson.
In the years since her death, he remained active in a local Alzheimer's Association support group, even attending a meeting days before he passed.
