It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lappin of Easley, South Carolina, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. As David departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy David leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Lappin and Royal Lappin. He is survived by: his wife Harriet Lappin of Easley, SC; his children, Chelsea Bibombe (Romeo) of Powder Springs, GA and Zachary Lappin (Isabel) of Powdersville, SC; his grandchildren, Nora and Nathan Bibombe; and his siblings, Tom Lappin (Maria) of Greer, SC, Daniel Lappin (Kim) of Easley, SC, Nancy Callahan (Sonny) of Greer, SC and Lisa Lucas (Barry) of Cumming, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
