It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David George Peot of Easley, South Carolina, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jerry Peot and Leona Goldschmidt Peot Berg of Coleman, WI.; and his siblings, Phyllis Heil, Beverly Kamps, Tom Berg, Rodney Berg, Einar Berg and Dave.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen McGurty Peot of Easley, SC; his children, Lori Hummel (Drew), Julie Poole (Butch), Sherri Sharp (Wes), Tim Peot (Selvi) and David Peot; his grandchildren, Seth Poole (Nicole), Caitlyn Hummel (Layne), Kylie Brown (Tyler), Bailey Sharp, Malia Sharp, Devi Peot and Alexa Peot; his great grandchild Ashlyn Poole; and his siblings, Sharon Neuman, Greg Berg and Chris Berg.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 6:15 PM at the Easley First Baptist Church (300 E 1st Ave, Easley, SC 29640). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
In remembrance of Dave's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Easley First Baptist Church Troop 37 Eagle Scout Scholarship Fund.
