He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Newman and Thelma Butts Stone; his wife Robin Cothran Newman; his children, Delicia Ivins (Ben), Kayla Rider (Josh) and Shaun Thrasher; his siblings, Randy Newman (Sissy) and Donna Broome (Jimmy); and his granddaughters, Caroline, Kaydence and Bonnie.
