He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Cantrell Cassell and Robert Cassell; and his siblings, Carrie Lee Lewis, Clessie Rea Gravley, Correne Edens, Carmon Cassell and Cartee Cassell.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Pam Gravely (Mike) of Sunset and Gerald David Cassell (Kathy) of Pickens; his sisters, Christine Lewis and Cleon Meece; his grandchildren, Crystal Baddorf (Chris), Charlotte Sexton (Jon), Jessica Bell (Shane), Jake Gravely and Cassie Hyder (Ben); and his great grandchildren, David, Daniel, Aria, Alex, Ian, Easton, Brynleigh, Stone and Roami. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
