It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie Louise Blanden Garrett of Easley, South Carolina, who passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Blanden and Dora Anderson Blanden; and her husband James Lewis Garret. She is survived by: her children, Denise Garrett of Liberty, SC and Al Garrett of Easley, SC. She is also survived by two grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
