He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Clark and Leona Elizabeth Grant Masters; and his sister Syvilla Fortune. He is survived by: his wife Loretta DeJong Moyer Masters; his daughter Tina Simmons; his stepchildren, Paula Welch (Wesley), Carla Southerland (Kevin), Matthew Moyer (Susan) and Marcus Moyer (Julie); and his sister Judy Roper. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
