Whitner of Pelzer, SC, Travis Whitner of Williamston, SC, Aaron Whitner (Shaka) of Mauldin, SC, Timothy Mansell of Easley, SC and Cedrick Mansell (Serena) of Asheville, NC; and his siblings, Johnnie Mae Hampton (Barney) of Greenville, SC, Samuel L. Whitner of Mauldin, SC and Thomas Whitner of Williamston, SC. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
