He was predeceased by: his mother Pearl Palmer Chambers; and his siblings, Bootsie James, Earl Chambers and W. C. "Dub" Chambers. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Chambers; his children, Robby Chambers (Shauna), Jimmy Chambers and Bobbi Joe Chambers; his stepchildren, Carl Holliday and Angela Spearman; and his sister Shelby Barnwell. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
