Billy Ray Yates Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2023, at the age of 76, Billy Ray Yates of Easley, South Carolina, born in Pickens, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Duffy Yates and Lenie Stewart Yates; and his siblings, Louise Posey, Bob Yates, Marion "Mutt" Yates and Mac Yates.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra Hope Rowley Yates of Easley; his children, Tammy Yates of Pickens, Ben Yates (Shannon) of Easley and Jeff "Pie" Yates (Laura) of Pickens; his grandchildren, Haley McCall (Tyler), Alex Yates (Ashton), Kjursten Collier and Haley Collier; and his great grandchildren, Julia McCall, Ellie McCall and Tucker McCall.
