She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Paul Lawter; her parents, James Belton and Sarah Eunice Tollison Webb; her children, Carolyn Felicia Jackson and Byron Philip Blackstock; and her siblings, Sarah Sherbert and Jimmy B. Webb.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Blackstock Alexander (Frank) of Fountain Inn, Cheryl Blackstock Finley (Ken) of Taylors and David Blackstock of Easley; her stepdaughters, Mary Lawter Gramling (Robert) of Boiling Springs and Renee Lawter Wallace (Tommy Wallace) of Greer; her daughter-in-law Teresa Blackstock of Powdersville; and her sister Maxine Cartee of Alabama. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
