She was predeceased by: her husband James Lytle Surrett; and her sisters, Reubenia Smith and Catherine Roberts. She is survived by: her son Lesley P. "Les" Porter (Tammie) of Liberty; her brothers, Troy Porter (Sara) of Central and Leland Porter (Virginia) of Easley; her granddaughter Rebecca Porter Cochran (Brook) of Greenville; and her great grandchild Walker Cochran.
