She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Hudson and Lelia Hudson; and her husband Lewis. She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth (Mary) of Columbia, SC and Vincent of Barnwell, SC; her grandchildren, Bryan (Kelly) of Irmo, SC, Joy (David Wells) of Chapin, SC, Ashley (Dave Perry) of North Charleston, SC, Susan (Kenny Kight) of Barnwell, SC and Brianna Phillips of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her siblings, Danny Hudson, Joan Bishop, Janelle Bishop, Ethylean Fisk, Catherine Whittington and Pearl Malphrus; her adoptive son Val; her daughter Loretta Jacobson; and her grandchildren, India and Natalie. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, funeral services will be private for family members and active members of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
