She is survived by: her children, David Gibson (Sharon) of Walterboro and Cindy Thomas (David) of Islandton; her grandchildren, Hannah Gibson, Kaleb Gibson, Brantley Thomas (Melyndi), Allie Long (Alston), Braelyn and Keagan; and her sisters, Dorothy Beach of Early Branch and Carolyn Smith of Early Branch. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Homes and Crematory, Varnville-Hampton Chapel (1074 Yemassee Hwy, Varnville, SC 29944). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
