He is survived by: his wife Maxine Smith Thomas; his daughters, Fonya Colvin (Kerry), Jenni LaCoste (Palmer), Wilma Painter, Jennifer Durham (Scott) and Susan Finley (Russell); and his brothers, Gerald Thomas (Carol) and Neil Thomas (Suzy). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
