With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Kenneth Hammett (Duncan, South Carolina), who passed away on March 13, 2020 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hammett and Martha Reynolds Hammett; his son David Ray Hammett; and his brother Frankie Hammett. He is survived by: his children, Samuel Kenneth Hammett, Jr. and Martha Joe Skipper; and his siblings, Loren, Marshall Hammett, Shelby H. Harrison and Martha H. McMakin. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
