He was predeceased by: his parents, James Chesmore and Mabel Hocken Jewett Chesmore; and his siblings, Laverne Anstey, Betty Keller, Lee Jewett, Merle Chesmore and Dean Chesmore.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Donels Jewett; his children, Shawn Jewett Long, Lindsey Jewett Chase (Mike) and Kelly Jewett; his grandson John "Jack" McCormick; and his siblings, Harvey Chesmore and Sandra Hines.
