He is survived by: his wife Mary Simmons Owens; his children, Ronnie Owens, Marty Owens, Judy Watkins and Sandra Rushton; and his sisters, Inez Guffey and Lillian Keller. He is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.
