She was predeceased by: her parents, Wofford Dewitt and Geneva Lee Cannady Gregory; her husband John William Mason; her son Johnny DeWayne Mason; her grandson Justin Ray Mason; and her brothers, James Gregory, Jerry Gregory and Caroll Gregory.

She is survived by: her children, Danny "Bo" Mason (Rita), Scotty Mason (Carla), Jancie Coggins (Ken), Connie Smith (David) and Tami Hillard (Kenny). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Stribling Funeral Home Chapel (118 W Main St, Duncan, SC 29334).
