We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2024, at the age of 82, Martha Burriss Emory (Duncan, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Earl and Alda Mae Fowler Burriss; her spouse Claude "Dude" Mack Emory, Jr.; her sons, Tym Emory and Felix Emory; her grandson Derik Emory; and her siblings, Brenda Henson and Carroll Burriss.

She is survived by: her daughter Charlene Emory Lewis; her grandchildren, Brandon Lewis (Brittany), Ethan Lewis (Emily) and Jessica Shouck (Isaac); and her brothers, Thomas Burriss (Cheryl) and Leon Burriss (Beth). She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
